Our new made in London madras ties are constructed in authentic hand loomed Indian madras, completely hand sewn and unique to John Simons’ Apparel. Featuring a narrow square end, our ties measure 57 inches in length and 2 inches at the widest point of the blade.
This particular model features a rare bleeding madras. Bleeding madras is a hand-spun yarn which is non-colourfast, meaning it will bleed and fade overtime resulting in a unique patina as it is laundered. This type of fabric was extremely popular throughout the 1960’s and utilised by many of the key shirt makers throughout the Ivy League Boom Years. Please hand wash separately.
